I have been looking out for the hangout session with Sir Terry on #steemgigs and yesterday I was fortunate to be a part of the family, it was more of a dream come true for me, I have been monitoring the channel for some couple of weeks but yesterday I was lucky!
I got in early and listen to some country music played by @nexrules, it was amazing as @surpassinggoogle came in and apologize for been late, what a truly humble man, he sang for us and I got to know he was good at other things.
Nigeria's "palava" (problem) , one of it is a bad internet connection so I missed out until when everyone was trying to sing #despacito song, it was so funny as I tried in it and almost everyone was mumbling the song loud, @uche-nna gave us an amazing show, he was unstoppable , Sir Terry jumped in some couple of times to keep the our mood burning with his sonorous voice.
I eventually had a chance to introduce myself and I could remember @surpassinggoogle putting me in the spotlight to sing to him, it was such a great honor, I was super excited , I sang "No Air " by Chris Brown and Jordan Sparks, he helped me couple of times when I lost track, it was such a great moment for me irrespective of the odds.
I listened to great guys sings giving us a feeling of an opera mood, @surpassinggoogle, @darrenclaxton, @dynamicgreentk, they were all awesome...
I learnt a lot from different guys talking @surpassinggoogle, @jessdicuss, powerful talks, that doesn't just apply to cryptocurrency but to the life in general, we discussed about the idea of having a service provider to bring a free internet service to Steemians in Nigeria, pardon me, I can't really recall the name of the initiator, he is such a great guy with so much ideas and I could only contribute my little idea, Sir Terry gave us an eye opening idea and I hope to be a part of the team that makes that idea a reality!
Thank you all for been great guys, you give us something to believe in, I plan not to ever miss this family gathering, I don't care if it sound like FOMO, I learned a lot, thanks to everyone
