irrespective of our formulated policies and the different understanding of the concept of humanity, we can still choose to be kind, wicked, generous, soft and stone-hearted.
I think the original definition of humanity has been displaced, in my own reasoning, i believe humanity in itself alone means treating all humans as equal, loving others ourselves, caring about the point of views of the others, avoiding things that hurt the fellow human, and the original concept of humanity is that people are just humble, loyal, honest and kind to their fellow humans, I guess something as changed, these days , that people would even blame a man for being too kind or or too honest or generous, they will say "oh, that man is too nice, he is a fool" people will abuse him, they abuse the good spirit of a men who wants to help his fellow and the little who needs help, i was discussing with one of my friends in the overseas lastnight about humanity and how crazy the world has turned into, and he said "A man would prefer to fly his shot Dog overseas rather than see his neighbour live well or better than him" and he said, "i wonder whats that thing that is lost in the world?" (maybe the real interpretation of the meaning of humanity is that thing that is lost.
one of my friend also said" i use to have a feeling of being over protective and over-concerned over matter that would ever cause my family to panic, especially the nuclear family" i guess this is so to everyone else too, lol, and i think that is the reason because everyone is concerned more about their families, not about humanity or the fellow human.
