If you are familiar with Arduino hardware, you should try Ino, a command line toolkit that you can use when working with Arduino hardware.
This allows you to create new projects quickly, build firmware from many source files and libraries. Another ability is to upload firmware into a device.
Arduino practitioners use Arduino IDE UI more often, this Ino can replace the framework if you prefer to work using the command line.
