RSTAR is suitable for search and rescue operations in unstructured environments, such as collapsed buildings or flooded locations, where it has to adapt and overcome successive hurdles to achieve its goals,
using customizable wheel legs mounted on self-running systems and self-repositioning to run on flat surfaces, climbing large obstacles and close-range partitions, and crawling as a result of tunnels, pipes or slits.
