Semaphor is SpiderOak's multi-platform open source messaging solution. It's billed as a Slack style platform designed around a mobile oriented approach and supports Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android and iOS. SpiderOak is famous for using a Trust No One (TNE) encryption methodology for all of their products and services and that design philosophy is extended to Semaphor by utilizing a private blockchain and default end to end encryption. The code for the Semaphor is also available for peer review in its entirety.
Semaphor is available free for groups of 5 or less, otherwise pricing starts at $10 a month.
