sure it's overkill, but it's the premium offgrid battery they have and the best of all is that you can charge this badboy up with solar power as well -- now your probably thinking that $3000 is a lot of money but you really are getting great value.

i cannot think of anything i'd rather use out there, off the grid, in the back of a van with a bunch of solar panels on the roof going through a charge controller and into this -- i could run pretty much everything i own off this and i'd love to step through and change all my devices to see how much actual load i'd use.
WiFi connectivity allows you to sync your Yeti with the Goal Zero Yeti App to control ports and monitor your power usage right from your phone
kinda perfect if you are near to your van you can check the solar charge from across the street! :)
