these are the tools that afford us some time back into our lives to work on the real things that we enjoy and allow us to flex our creative muscles, having backups locked down is important for any project. Not cheap but then, what cost is your uptime and your client work right?
Jumping back into a project even just a few days after you deploy can be a real pain. Sometimes replicating bugs are dependent on the database or on particular files. Running manual database dumps from production can be dangerous and rsyncing files can put undo strain on a server during prime visiting hours.
