i've actually used this first hand. .

so i can tell you this is pretty cool especially if your an avid user like me and @dayleeo are (well, we used it once so far) and had a little issue with 'volumes' sharing from SD card but other than that it's really great.

you basically connect to one of their servers and then you que the video files you want to watch (films whatever) and then you can sync the play/pause and all that and even send messages which appear over the video playing so you can communicate with other other person on the other end -- i'm not sure how many people you can have in a room but a pretty cool idea, might be really good for highlights playback for an event -- you could even have everyone together on discord chatting over it.

we use another program to sync files which i'll post about soon which really helps with making sure you have the same content to watch, powerful little tool.
