After a long teaser stream on Twitch.tv Bethesda Game Studios has finally revealed their upcoming Fallout series spin-off called Fallout 76. As it stands not much has been revealed about the game but it is already available for pre-order on several major retailers.
From the teaser that has been released we know that the game will start you off, as usual, in a vault - this time it's vault 76. The interesting thing about this vault is that it is a control vault and therefor no experiments have been run on its inhabitants. The song in the trailer suggests that vault 76 is located in Virginia though some suggest a Capital Wasteland setting.
The teaser trailer suggests that the game takes place in 2102 (based on the date on the Pip-Boy at the start of the trailer). This would mean that the game takes place around 25 years after the nuclear war started which makes it the earliest in the entire series.
Despite the fact that this game is already available for pre-purchase I would suggest that you wait. There are rumors that the game contains online elements (a new addition to the Fallout series) and that it heavily features an improved building system that we saw in Fallout 4.
More news about the game will be released on June 10th 2018 at 6:30pm PT (9:30pm ET) during the Bethesda E3 Showcase. The event will be live streamed on their Twitch as well as on Youtube.
