Not everything gets funded by National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Healthfundit receives top 30th percentile NIH grant applications and puts them up on their website. NIH funding has been decreasing throughout the last 15 years and lots of projects go unfunded.
The first step is much like @steemhunt but with 1 account-1 vote system and the most voted proposals gets into crowdfunding stage like Kickstarter/Patreon and Healthfundit helps the project throughout the funding process. They do take a 10% cut for their efforts which I think is fair.
You Can Even Login With Blockstack
This is a very good sign and hey may even bring their project to blockchain in the future. It's not decided yet. But how many crowdfunding projects allow Blockchain accounts to Login?
