In the world of electric skateboards, range and speed are often a topic of discussion. If you want an electric skateboard with both good range and a decent top speed, Backfire Ranger may just be what you have been looking for. In the right conditions, it can reach a top speed of 22mph(36kph), and in real world testing has shown a range of as much as 21 miles on a single charge.
Unlike many electric skateboards, the creators of the Backfire Ranger opted to have hub motors instead of the common motor-belt-gear drive system which gives you a major boost in reliability. Another cool feature is that bad weather cannot stop you because it is waterproof as well as dust proof.
