Hello #Steemit friends!
I am working on a call center company here in Clark, Pampanga. I can say that the pay is good and I could easily topped up my bi-monthly payout every cutoff. The luxury that I am getting from working hard is not enough for my restless nights assisting consumer's concerns. There are some times that I do not go to work because I feel so tired and lazy. My mind wanted me to go to work but my body won't. By the way, I am in the BPO industry for nearly 4 years now and do you want to know how does it feel to be in this industry? I can say, it is HARD. Just try to imagine you just had a shift until 9AM but you will need to report and come to work at 6PM the same day. This is what we called, transition day off. This excludes the mandatory, pre and post shift OT that our superiors would ask an hour before our end of day.
Being in a call center industry is quite traumatizing most especially when you are a newbie. In the call center you would found the most racist, rude and bully consumers. But you will get used to it in the long run. Working in a call center is like you're digging your own grave. Everytime you come in to work and everyone is asleep in their warm comforters, danger is always there. Being in a call center for quite sometime now, I can say that everything's changed. From the way I think to the way I dress. Vices is already there. My over-all health is being compromised from not having enough rest and sleep.
We only have one life which we need to treasure. I am tired. If I just have enough savings, I could easily send an resignation to the HR but this is my bread and butter. So, should I stay or should I go?
