Why has the setting to change the payout of a post been hidden away?
Are people now less likely to bother changing it around?
Yeah so I've just spent an hour or so writing a blog on steemit.com, only to 'post' it to the Steem Blockchain and realise I had my payout set to 'decline payout'. Doh?!
The other day I ran a competition and didn't feel like it would be fair to claim a payout on a short 'announcement' of the results, and so I switched my normal default setting from 50/50 in order to receive nothing for this piece of content.
Until very recently, this was a setting that could be changed whilst writing the post on Steemit.com, but now involves going to the Settings page and adjusting it there.

See you... never!
This seems like a backwards step
Firstly, your current setting seemingly isn't displayed on the the 'submit.html' page where your write the Post on steemit.com - how about a clue as to what your current setting is?
And secondly, I think that due to this 'error', I'm less likely to go and find this setting in future to 'decline payout', knowing that I'm again unlikely to remember to switch this back for when I do feel my content should be available for reward.
Can someone explain the logic behind this to me?
I mean, I'm all for a tidy and uncluttered interface, but I don't feel like this box was taking up to much room where it was - what's the reasoning here?
A new account is even less likely to spot this new location when they start out, what is the default for them?
OK, small rant over.
So much for trying to do the right thing - I'm claiming my coffee and donuts funds this time!
Cheers
