Hi all, may we always be healthy and can enjoy life with happiness. This time I want to make a post about the things that are done by many people when it will welcome Lebaran or Eid al-Fitr which will be celebrated by Muslims around the world in the next few days.
As Muslims we are required to fast for a whole month in the month of Ramadan. After fasting a whole month in Ramadan by holding back food and drink during the day and restraining Evil Lust for a month to train our Faith and Heart from doing work that is forbidden in Religion, so when the month of Ramadan ends go in and enter the Muslims into Shawwal month, and on the 1st day Shawwal Muslims celebrate the Feast of Eid with a happy feeling in the hope that Allah SWT has cleansed our sins during the month of Ramadan.
In welcoming the coming of Eid al-Fitr, there are some customs done by Muslims in Aceh, Indonesia. Some of these are:
1. Make Various Typical Foods and Variety of Cakes
Hari Raya Idul Fitri is one of the time that is a moment to visit our brother to strengthen brotherhood, Eid also become a moment for us to forgive each other. Not only visit us will also be visited by relatives, friends and others. When there are people who visit our house then we will serve food, cakes and of course drinks to all guests who come.
So, to meet the needs of food and cake that we will serve to the guests, then for the cake has been prepared before Idul Fitri, three or five days before Eid. So food and cake is an important thing prepared before Eid al-Fitr.
2. New Clothes
Furthermore, prepared by many people who will welcome the Eid al-Fitr is to prepare new clothes ranging from clothes, pants, shoes and others to support our appearance when Eid al-Fitr comes. Each has to have a stylish pillian each as needed. Usually everyone prepares a new outfit that is Muslim clothes and muslimah.
Those are the two things that many Muslims are preparing for Eid al-Fitr to be celebrated in a few days.
