on TV you are always confronted with great beaches, beautiful people and the supposedly great life. I've always wanted to travel to the Caribbean and that's what I did after:

The flight was not without. Ten hours from Frankfurt airport, it went to the Caribbean. I was first and ready. The hotel was great. A huge hotel complex with all inclusive. I travel in June in low season. Means that over night always relatively many storms shook the island through and then a lot of dirt was washed ashore on the day. At the Hotel Strand every day a guy came by selling coconuts.

Actually, I do not like it that much. However, I wanted to try it urgently and it was not a mistake. Delicious:). On the beach of Punta Cana was relatively busy and if you were lucky, you also found a beach chair. The hotel had four restaurants, where you could take turns eating. The weather was wonderful during the day. Always over 30 degrees and pure sunshine. The sea was crystal blue and beautiful on some days. On other days the sea had been very dirty. In Punta Cana I smoked my very first cigar. The taste was vanilla. Not that bad, but it does not have to be. At least it is not healthy. The hotels offer many guided tours and one interested me. I'll talk about that in the second part :). In any case, I recommend the place. It is something different and a great backdrop.

im Fernsehen wird man immer mit tollen Stränden, wunderschönen Menschen und das angeblich tolle Leben konfrontiert. Ich wollte schon immer mal in die Karibik reisen und das machte ich auch und zwar nach:
Punta Cana!

Der Flug war schon mal nicht ohne . Zehn Stunden vom Frankfurter Flughafen ging es in die Karibik. Ich war erstmal fix und fertig. Das Hotel war jedoch super. Ein riesiger Hotel komplex mit all inklusive. Ich verreist im Juni in der nebensaison. Bedeutet, dass über Nacht immer relativ viele Stürme die Insel durch schüttelten und am Tag dann ziemlich viel Dreck an Land gespült wurde. Am Hotel Strand kam jeden Tag ein Typ vorbei der Kokosnüsse verkaufte.

Eigentlich stehe ich nicht so drauf. Jedoch wollte ich die dringend probieren und es war kein Fehler. Super lecker:). Am Strand von Punta Cana war relativ viel los und wenn man Glück hatte, fand man auch eine Liege. Im Hotel befanden sich vier Restaurants, wo man abwechselnd essen gehen konnte. Das Wetter war tagsüber herrlich. Immer über 30 Grad und Sonnenschein pur. Das Meer war an einigen Tagen Kristallblau und wunderschön. An anderen Tagen war das Meer sehr verdreckt gewesen. In Punta Cana rauchte ich meine allererste Zigarre. Der Geschmack war Vanille. Gar nicht mal so schlecht aber muss nicht sein. Gesund ist es jedenfalls nicht. Die Hotels bieten viele geführte Touren an und eine interessierte mich. Darüber berichte ich im zweiten Teil darüber:). Auf jedenfall empfehle ich den Ort. Es ist mal was anderes und eine tolle Kulisse.
