Hey All!
In a weird string of event, John McAfee has tweeted a post by @loggiaonfire about Dogecoin.

To give you some context, Since last month, McAfee - the CEO of MGT Capital Investments, have been publicly endorsing cryptocurrencies and projects that he feels "will change the world".
I've been on the follow myself just to see what is his opinion and be hopeful that he somehow will share about Steem. Afterall he claimed to have read "all the whitepapers" and so he must have realized how Steem represents the cryptocurrency everyone and how it will be the gateway drug to the world of cryptocurrencies.
But i noticed after a while that opportunistic people saw an opportunity to pump and dump whatever projects that he introduced.. I'm not gonna show you the calls to join their "frontrunning scheme" but just look at all the replies of his tweets. It's pretty obvious. He did mentioned these schemers in general, sadly acknowledging that heis tweets of opinion has been reduced to pump signals.
It still comes as surprise to me though, that he did recommeded people to look into Dogecoin as part of his "these-will-change-the-world" tweet series. Whether he really thinks so about Dogecoin, or he is just fooling around, or perhaps the Shibe bug did got to him... I'm reserving my judgement for now.
A few hours later though, he tweeted something very interesting, a Steemit post!!!
Fellow @loggiaonfire, probably filled with joy over the very wow event, made and much happy announcement on steem that it happened. And among those that took note of his very edit skill and many exhiliration writing is none other than Mister McAfee himself!
I noticed something on @loggiaonfire's post that I have not seen before on Steemit. Disproportionately more views than votes! as of the time of writing the post has gotten over 18 thousand views! Most probably gotten from the traffic directed by McAfee's tweet.
It already looks to me like an unspoken endorsement of Steem in on itself, but it could also mean meme magic, because you know.. Doge..
With so much traffic directed at the post, if even 10% of the readers manage to read the post all to the end, we're talking close to 2 thousand people being interested in how steemit works and how do they get in on it.
If Steemit will hit mass adoption, i think we're seeing the beginning of the beginning. So excited about the next few weeks and one can only imagine what happens if he really did introduce Steem to his followers.
