This is a presentation Chris gave in Spring 2016, which is being updated to catch up to our current vision and work, but I like to share this expression as background when it comes to what we are about and what we are aiming for.
We are interested in realizing a noo lifestyle for the planet, a DIY civilization which empowers Earth Citizens to co-create the future of our choosing, together. This won't be for everyone, it's a game we want to play.
Obviously, with blockchains and cryptocurrencies, the future is here now. We are at the beginning of an epoch where people will no longer be distracted by 'earning a living' and have the freedom and prosperity to follow their bliss and bring their gifts to the world.
With smart contracts, governance, and DAOs-- we are seeing the very tip of the ice-berg. Clearly, the application layers built on top of these internet innovations will be where reality truly gets interesting. And, this is where we play.
Boldly, I claim, we are developing the equivalent of a particle accelerator for consciousness.
Instead of smashing together particles at high speeds to reveal deep physics and a theory of everything.. the next task for humanity is sharing our living collaboratory to synergize perceptions in real-time and reveal a truly unified (literal) world wide web.
Anything is truly possible from here.. from the zero point of creativity.
Black holes will transform into negative spaces where we carve out our dreams into physical form. Utopia, dystopia. war, peace... the choice to collapse a wave function and observe what we want to experience will be ours.
Wormholes will bridge the cryptoverse of choices we have as we surf the virtual, augmented and natural realities seamlessly.
