The fact of the matter is that it's not that easy. We Steemians don't have an easy life as we are expected to have a live outside of steemit. But the world doesn't understand us and we don't want to understand the world.
That's why I decided to sum up Steemit for you so you can tell your parents, friends, partner and kids why you are living like quasimodo lately.
That feeling when someone tells you the first time about Steemit
When they tell you about the Rewards
But you get curious and look for yourself just to see the trending section
So you sign up in the hopes to get rich quick
Only to be hit by reality that no-one likes you yet
Start questioning everything
Eventually you decide to try one more time
So you try to submit better posts
When you find out about Discord or Steemit.Chat
Then you meet people like you
When you finally get some rewards
Suddenly you realize you have been awake for 5 days straight
When you get recognized by your first Whale
Finally you reach rep 50 and feel like a king (or queen)
The feeling you have when you reach 500 followers
When you hit your first $100 Post
When you are around longer than a month
When you have finally gathered a group of people around you to grow together
When you are a Whale and you get smothered by upvoting requests
And your Direct Messages look like these
But in the end it all is worth it
