Today I would like to introduce someone who is a shining example of the kind of people who are moving their personas to the Steemit social platform. She's what is lovingly termed a minnow here.

Seems to be an ongoing search for exactly what describes a minnow. All skills and talent aside I tend to agree with @aggroed. He is one of the members that started the minnow support project (MSP). So who better to give the definition. A minnow as someone (account) that has less than 5k Steem Power (SP) then there are dolphins (5k SP - 50k SP)...and finally Mobydom at (50k SP and higher)
I have no doubt @karencarrens will continue to grow quickly to dolphinhood and perhaps, eventually, onto becoming a full blown whale of epic proportions. She's a true giver and a fine template as to what makes a great Steemian.
Here Is an older post that shows just how much a giver she is. Something of a reminder as to what we all can do when faced with not-a-lot-to-do time. If you haven't already, think seriously about being a local hero, in your part of the wold, by becoming a Red Cross blood donor

I've spent a bit of time surfing further into @karencarrens personal SteemianWave/Blog and found a couple of her posts that I would like to share. Beyond the one I chose to feature here. This next one is her introduction to the true meaning of Peacock have a look at the video too...it's very short but pretty funny.
She, like so many of us are caught in the middle of a situation that has yet been defined as a good or bad thing. Resteeming! A very important term inside the Steemitverse and outside, as she so wonderfully demonstrates with a story of two young boys who reached greater heights together than they may have seperately. Have a look you will be amazed!

Finally This is the post of her reaching out into the community searching for a happy solution to the touchy subject of both gaining and losing followers according to how much...and what you choose to resteem <<<that's the link this is all about and why I #resteem-that
Thanks for looking, let me know what you think of this post.
Suggestions to make it better are welcome.
This is my follow button logyx
I'm pretty low tech...and off to surf the feeds. };-)>
~smiles fer miles~
EDIT: After careful consideration to my readers I have decided to place the whale watching speedboat in the predominant position to allow easier recognition to my Why Did I Resteem That series. Also I'm going to put a link to my initial comment on discovering the featured post. I often get lost in the crowd. smiles
Not sure what to call that link but I think My Initial Comment to OP should do fine...for now. I've been told, more than a few times, that I give good comment. Sometimes great...and usually not for the TLDR crowd...just in case yer interested. };-)>
