If you are thinking so, then this post may come as a disappointment to you, because the very definition of the Minnow has been changed by @steemitboard. For those of you who dont know what Steemboard is, @steemboard is the user who has created the tool Steemitboard to distribute users into sections according to their stake in the network. It also gives the community users timely awards in form of badges that they can attach to the footer of their posts to make them more appealing...

Recently in a post, @steemitboard announced a new member to its Levels Badge Category. This new entrant is called the "Red Fish". Now Red Fish will be the lowest in the Levels Badge category pushing the Minnows Category to second place and so on upto the "Whale".

Here is what are the new requirements to be a Minnow
If you are a Steemian and you have 0 - 999999 Vests Then you are a Red Fish
If you are a Steemian and you have 1000000 - 9999999 Vests Then you qualify as a Minnow
