Steemit lets me build something
I'm going to stick with Steemit no matter of the price because it's wise. Steemit lets my build something. Recognizability. I would suggest any professional seeking for a platform to establish his position to use Steemit It's a long way but it will pay off.
You can think of developing your Steemit account as your small business. You can track your progress, growth of followers, average earnings etc. It's pretty cool for people like me who are into chart porn. I love analyzing my charts and finding trends.

I'm not an American but Americans will know ;).
I'm a long term holder even some people are telling me that I should sell my small amount of Steem which I earned by writing because it soon might be worth only 1/10 of it. Although I'm gonna include Steemit earnings into my financial plan, I'm not using it for every day spending or paying off my bills. It's just grate to have some projected into the future, semi-passive income.
Steemit and Steem future is bright, there is no doubt. Steem belongs to not so many ,,useful", and product owning currencies on the market. Most of the others are just dreams and scams that gonna list till there will be speculation. But at some point there will be a purge which will burn down bad projects off the market and only good stuff will remain.
Although I decided to do a small experiment with Steemit:
I'm not going to use my Steemit earnings as major income for paying bills or basic expenses but rather as an alternative stream which gives me a lot of independecne. I'm planning to move any funds out of my account for a long time till they will mean something for me.
Launching my new Steemit project
I'm very exciteted because Steemit is partly responsible for my relocation 10 000 kilemeters away from my current home to a completelty different culture and climate where I'll continue to do my cryptocurrency investments, write for Steemit and provide my konwledge to people interested in cryptocurrency.
