I was very happy to have 92 followers yesterday and hopeful to hit 100 but what a nice surprise to wake up to. I know it doesn't seem like much to many of you but it means a lot to me. It may have taken me longer than others but there are things I won't do:
- Stalk whales and hope to be noticed, @papa-pepper posts some kickass stuff and @trafalgar is hilarious... I may mention them from time to time 😜
- Hang around #introduceyourself and beg for followers or votes in some sort of weird quid pro quo
- Make stupid comments like "hey great post/thanks for sharing, now follow me" gross
And of course to all my new homies like @teotwawkiman and of course @almaamor, thanks for keeping it fun.
My humble plea:
Please get your friends and family over her and recruit your ass off to bring over great content providers! Be a Steemit ambassador and here's a few points I use:
- You don't need money to mine crypto just come over to Steemit and start sharing content
- Why do you want to make Google and Zuckerberg rich with your content?
- You gotta get in now while it's still sort of small
Anyway, it's worked for me on a few people. And here's my proof of reaching a hundo and I'm pretty happy about the rep as well!
