The idea was to build a web page that will show you only the relevant information and news about the Steem blockchain. I bought the domain from GoDaddy and it was the first time I did such a thing and, of course, I made a major mistake and chose free GoDaddy host with their very restricted Web Builder. It's very easy to use but there are so many things that you can't do there and now it seems that I will have to copy/paste the news manually from Steemit to SteemNews.
I always wanted to build a project in which I will include more proper Steemers.
There are a few things that really I can't stand. I wanted to check something under #steemit tag on Steemit, but the most posts I found there had nothing with - Steemit. I found philosophy, art, and a few funny things, but it was very hard to find the right information I've searched for. Same with Steem, same with news... News always comes to each Steemer at a different time. Steemers, especially the new ones, don't have an idea who to follow to get the right info and announcement.
So I decided to buy this web domain (steem-news.com), although I know that it will cost me a lot of time and nerves. I also created a special Steemit account for this and I have to wait a week or two for the approvement. But the problem is - I also don't get the news at the right time always! So I will need your help. Keep reading and you will know what do I need.
I never wanted to create a post-crowded web page, I want to have the most 20 links for Steemit post at the time. And those 20 posts have to be informative, correct, and relevant. I need only important announcements and I separated my website in a few sections:
- Steem & SBD on markets
I will paste STEEM and SBD charts there. There is no need to paste more than two links here every day and those posts shouldn't be too long and complicate to understand for noobs.
- Steem platform news
I will paste here links to everything important considering Steemit. Some important changes in the near future, hardfork announcements and news about third-party tools under development.
- Free Money
This is what actually inspired me to make this move. Many people get the information too late or they get the old news and make BIG Steemit pst about it like they were first to find out... Like the Byteball airdrop, I can still find some new posts about it and it is old news to the most of us.
- Contests & challenges
I will post here ONLY the announcements for contests and challenges whose organizers want me to.
- DRAMA
This will be interesting! Whale fights, complains, and idiotism. Hacking activity included.
- Events
I am creating a calendar and reminder for all special Steemit occasions.
