Upvotes doesn't mean you can get money from this (because many people here, doesn't have much Steam Power and also don't dedicate much time on steemit).

By doing this you are drawing the attentions of whales to your post. Am sure we all know how much voting strength a whale posses and just 3-4whales can boost your articles to 5-6$. It all depends on the voting strength.
I get to understand that if I can't make post I could search out some few whales read their post and make reasonable comments and I get to earn a lot when they Upvote my comments.

First, try to not put popular tag like: steemit, steem, ... because I'm sure that your post will disapear after 5 minutes. And then you can forget about upvote or follow or resteem ....
