Didn't want to do this...
I've been here on Steemit for just over 2 weeks now (yeah I know my account says june2017, but I actually didnt start using Steemit until about 12th of july).
After reading my way through Steemit I noticed that there are many people posting other peoples work, some just paste a youtube link and press post, not even a comment about what he or she is going to show us on youtube or who the creator is.
Others paste in pictures from other photographers, and even pictures that have been postet in magazines.
Some copy/paste some storys from science magazines, other paste something from NatGeo.
You get the point...
All of this would be perfectly fine, if they just left a comment at the bottom saying whos work it is, taking credit for something you havent even done.
Dont try to fool the good people of Steemit!
We know you just want to make it on Steemit, we all do!
If everybody would paste youtube links in here we you have flooded the feed with just garbage, people don't care about what you find interesting on youtube, we care about you, your work, what you do, not what some other guy have done...
If you are like me and dont really know how to write good storys/articles, pick up a camera or your phone and take some pictures, let us know where you took the picture, who took it and other interesting info about it.
So, to all the parrots out there stop regurgitating whatever you come across on the internet!
Just to try to make an easy buck. Don't try to make money on other peoples work!
I would like to encourage all steemers/steemanians(?) to not upvote posts that are clearly other peoples work. (and dear I say it? Flagg them!)
Lets make Steemit a unique site, not a copy/paste forum.
I've ranted for long enough now, I'm not used to writing this much in my posts, so I'll leave it with that, hope we can get a stop to this.
(please excuse my english, its not my first language)
