As you probably know if you are on the ADSactly Discord channel, we recently launched a verification process to verify your Steemit profile.
There are two main reasons for that:
- This is to avoid your pictures from being stolen.
- This way, we are sure that we are talking to you, and not a fake account.
The rule is simple:
Take a selfie holding a sign with the word "Steemit," your Username and the date. Post it and share your Steemit link in our Discord (/!\ Only use the channel steemit_acc_verification /!). That's it!
Some important points:
- Be sure that your sign is handwritten, don't use any software to add the text
- That we can read your username and the date
- Don't forget the mention "Steemit"!
And because you cannot lie and fake the Blockchain, I am going to mention every verified account in the comment section of this post. This way, the verification proof is going to be sealed into the Blockchain.
