Mike and I have been running websites and making a living off them for 15 years now. I've always been a freelancer photographer and Mike quit is job after his company went under and got bought up. By that time we had our first website running. And are surviving on different sites and income sources ever since.

But we've noticed within the last couple of years that our income through Adsense and affiliate programs are dropping and this trend is obviously frightening us. Everything we make through these websites actually goes into finance our For 91 Days Travel project but if this continues, it's just not sustainable!
It would be nice if For 91 Days would pay for itself but in the past it hasn't .... and then came STEEMIT, which actually gave us some hope for the future.
But what do to for example with our movie recommendation site? We have an average of 25k pageloads a day but we're just not able to monetize successfully. Our users are super internet savvy, never ever click on ads or buy anything through our links. We do have a great user base who become sponsors and in return they can browse our website ads free but the amount of work we've put in and the revenue we make is not equal.
So when I was browsing through one of the Steemit tools I've noticed JSECoin which is miner which uses your browser to mine their coins. They also let you mine through the browsers of your visitors on our website. It's such an none intrusive way to monetize your website AND it is a pretty green way to mine cryptocurrencies since they're using the CPU of the browser of visitors who would visit your website anyway. They also seem legit since they just recently got whitelisted by BitDefender. We're very curious about them and were wondering if anyone made experiences with them. Or what your thoughts are on them. We sent them an email with couple of questions and waiting on their answer before we decide to implement them or not.
If you're curious about JSECoin you can sign up and try their selfmining dashboard. As a disclaimer this link is an affiliate link, why send them a free sign up? Right?
And we would like to ask you about imput about other, new monetizing ideas for our Criticker Movie Site, start our own steemit based voting system for reviews people leave?
