I understand that after the Bitcoin/Bcash fork, Bcash has put in place replay protection so that transactions on one blockchain cannot be replayed on the other.
Let's say things change (not unheard of in the world of crypto).
Let's say developers for whatever reason, decide to remove the replay protection currently within Bcash sometime next year.
What would this mean?
Would this mean that ANY transaction that sits within the BCash block chain, generated at ANYTIME, could now be replayed on the Bitcoin blockchain?
Would this mean ANY transaction that sits within the Bitcoin block chain, generated at ANYTIME, could now be replayed on the Bcash blockchain?
Does replay attacking only work with transactions of a certain age?
Your thoughts please.....
