One of my goals here on Steemit/Busy is to post daily.
I thought I was doing pretty well on that one... but here's one stat to contradict me.
My SteemitBoard stats page (part of it) shows like this:
Now, I haven't made it a goal to post 4 times a day. That's too much for me, I think. Although I might try it once, who knows, I like to unlock stuff. ;)
As you can see I received a "weekly author" badge 16 times (meaning I posted at least once every day of the week), but in all this time I haven't been able to get even once the "monthly author" badge.
That's a bit frustrating to find out, for someone who has a goal of posting once daily, and is an advocate for consistency.
So, from March to July, every month, there was at least a day when I haven't posted. I say March, although I joined at the end of January, because I didn't have this daily post routine at first, and since July because this month isn't over yet and there's still a chance I will do it. As I scrolled through my passed blog posts, there seems to be no daily "gap" this month (yet).
Of course, in the gamified stats of @steemitboard there are others much harder to achieve for me at this time, like these ones:
I take a look at these stats once in a while, because they provide a certain type of insight regarding the evolution of your account. In this way, SteemitBoard is a cool game (which can be improved), but also a useful tool.
Do you check out your stats at Steemitboard? Do you ever adjust your behavior to accomplish the next awards or one you want achieved there?
