I broke a rule today; It felt good. Ok, so it was my own rule and there's not a lot at stake I guess, just my privacy, however I still felt a little nervous doing so. Today I handed someone at work my steemit details essentially giving them permission to read my blog. It doesn't sound all that concerning maybe, but to me allowing someone I work with to read my posts is a little unnerving. I suppose because I see her every day and sometimes my blogs are a little personal. It's strange huh? I'll share with strangers but not with someone I know, and like.

Anyway, we had a little chat and she seems a little keen on learning more about steemit but also about reading my blog. I feel I write in a reasonable way, it's understandable, well punctuated and (I hope) interesting to some. Sure, not everything I write will interest everyone however my topics are quite varied so there's generally something for everyone. image source
I can imagine the girl from work scrolling through my blog trying to find all my content which, as we all know is really annoying, to pick out a few she would like to read and in a way I'm looking forward to some feedback from someone I know won't judge me. I wish the platform had an easier way to locate a bloggers posts however there's no real other way than to scroll...and scroll...and scroll. You get the idea.
The prospect of having my blog scrutinised, albeit in a friendly way, has made me think back to some of the posts I've written, some I'm very proud of and some that were, well, incredibly tongue in cheek! I thought I'd post a few here for people to check out (if they chose) as my early posts were...well, you be the judge.
The Western Front
Law beaker
Port Arthur
Adelaide welcome's zombies
What makes a good year
Camp like a boss
How wheat domesticated humans
Pizza like a boss
Roman legions
Text messaging
42 year old toy
Getting a grip
These days I post about once a day however in the past I was posting twice typically. There's a lot of posts I suppose and the selection above merely shows the diversity of my blog. I have written some bad ones, I know that for sure, but I think I've written some great ones also. I'm not a writer, in fact I never finished high school however I tend to write from the heart and about what I am interested in or what's important to me. If you choose to take a look I thank you, if not then that's ok too. Enjoy. Or not.
Oh, as for my work colleague? Well, I hope to get her blogging because I think she would have some great content and really enjoy it although she has another awesome talent and hobby so she may decide not to. Hopefully she gets inspired by a scrubber like me posting about stuff and joins steemit though. :)
