If you are serious about Steemit, then you are aware that there are accounts who steal content from other people and pass it off as their own. Today, i found 1 of those people. Their username is @aburashed and they have plagiarized at least 2 pieces of content, in order to try and make a profit.
A user, Josie, has been doing a promotion where she gives free resteems to people who upvote her post. Her account is @average-joe. However, her post has been copied, word for word by @aburashed and posted on their page. Here are screenshots to prove it:
As you can see, this post was created by @aburashed, however, they stole it word for word from @average-joe, as shown by this screenshot:
THE WORDS, TITLE, RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE EXACTLY THE SAME!!
This person tried to pass of their post as their own, when the really took it from @average-joe. The time stamp of the posts prove that @average-joe is the original owner of this content. In fact, Josie has been creating these posts for over a month if you go back to her first posts.
This type of thing irritates me because i was scrolling through my feed and saw a familiar title and thought it was Josie offering another resteem, but it was not. This is deceptive and wrong. Which is why i flagged this user and i encourage you all to do the same as well. There is no room for this kind of thing.
@aburashed even used the same graphic as @average-joe:
Notice the same graphic as almost identical tags?
Also, notice that @aburashed got 39 votes, but very little comments, only 7 comments. This leads me to believe that there is 1 person behind all of those accounts. The promotion called for viewers to leave a link to a post and upvote that post. Well, they upvoted, but didnt leave a link? Sounds fishy to me.
This type of user has no place on Steemit, so please dont support @aburashed at all and make sure to flag him and anybody else who plagiarizes and steals work. Time to clean this type of behavior up.
