In the last weeks I wrote a lot about different ways to earn money on the internet and on Steemit. I mentioned that we could earn money through our good posts and good comments. But what is the best way for newbies to start here!
I will tell you about my opinion. I think commenting is better for new users to engage themselves in discussions and make friends. It works different for everyone of us, but everyone finds the right way to build success. Some users take their time and write very good comments that attract the authors to check their profiles. Even if their content is average, they will be rewarded and encouraged. And thats the first contact between the author and the reader.
So start with that where you feel more comfortable with and you will see a big change in a short time. Dont stress your self and become disappointed, if nothing works out at the beginning.

Many Steemians earn a lot with writing posts, but dont have time for comments. While others write more comments. They won many followers by writing comments, while their posts were not doing well.
I will tell you a secret! Through good comments, you build faster friendships. But I am talking about long, meaningful comments related to the posts. A short comment as "Nice Post" is not seen as a comment, but "Spam".
In the meanwhile you should continue posting quality content about topics you are fond of and increase the number of followers. Users will follow you because they have an interest in what you are sharing. Whether your travel experiences, food or pets. Whether you are talented or untalented, you will find users with similar interests.
People have different opinions about the topic, so try both ways and find out what is right for you.
