It is a long waiting time since the HF20 took effect. Seriously I dont understand what will really change until I can see it happening. My Voting Power was 22% last night, so I have to wait until it is at least 60% and thats really difficult. I will try to upvote my friends posts. I wont say followers anymore, because I see them as Steemit friends and I am sure about meeting them one day.
It might take a bit of time, but it is a bit difficult to just sit and wait. Last night I noticed many posts of the last month appearing in the "New" section. It might take time until everything is stable like before. Whatever changes we need on Steemit is mostly for the Newbies and Plankton with good content, who have no big chance of visibility. Whales are already stable and their positions are fixed. Dolphins and Minnows are struggling between the good and bad days. We need a system thats gives every individual the chance to be visible, because it became very difficult lately. Visibility is the major problem here and paid bots.
Hackers and spammers are unpredictable, but action should be taken to protect users and the platform itself. Even if Steem is stolen from some users, things can get worse in the future if we dont fight back.
Getting paid well depends on our skill level, experience, and the quality of work. Thats why everyone of us need to work harder than before and try new things to attract the crowd. Steemit is growing and there are many users who do much better than we do. Not everyone can be a skilled writer, but we wont loose anything while trying. We can fail many times until we succeed and build a reputation. We need a creative mind to write amazing articles and stand out. Things might be more complicated in the future, so we need to be prepared :)
