- Steemit is a goldmine! -Wrong.
- Steemit will make me a millionaire! -Wrong.
- Steemit will make me THOUSANDS on each post! -Wrong.
I've had enough of this BS.
I'm sorry to say this but seriously.. WHAT THE F is going on here..?
@dollarvigilante, "the super steemian" has arrived.. And he made a shit ton of money.
This is how it all looked when I started to write this post.
$1439 after @berniesanders arrived.
I believe @dollarvigilante deserves everything he earned. He truly does. I know he put in a ton of effort to become this successful (outside of steemit) and I'm truly glad for him. He deserves it!
However..
He joined steemit, he made a ton of cash and he publish content to squeeze every single cent out of your pockets, like most internet marketers does. And he do this while he claims to be some super-steemian. The thing is, "overnight success" doesn't exist in "the real world". - On steemit? - Definitely!
That's also the thing.. It's called overnight success because the things you get "just happens". It's a fluke. It happens at random. It's luck. Overnight success doesn't exist elsewhere. You'll need to work HARD to get what you want. And no matter how hard you work, it's still very likely that you'll never end up with everything you've ever dreamed of.
What people needs to realize is that most of you won't have this overnight success. Most people will earn a few cents here and there.. And that's okay! - It's still more than you would ever have earned on Facebook or Twitter!
Take a look at this:
These are on the front page of Steemit. Your voice is worth SOMETHING. Note that I highlighted one specific word on the second screenshot. "CAN". You CAN make money. Everyone CAN. - That doesn't mean that you will!
People like @dollarvigilante, no matter how great he is, is here for one thing only. Money. - I thought this was the new social media platform? - Not the nearest ATM like he actually make it sound like in his posts.

"Want To Be A Steemillionaire? Here Are The Crucial Things To Do For Newbies on Steemit". If I would have published that, then I would have ditched that "Want To Be A Steemillionaire?" part.
This is not internet marketing. You are not writing your sales letters for a super-genius product here. You don't sell here. You can, but you don't.
You share things for free and you do it so others can benefit from it. In one way or another. You share your lifestories, jokes, thoughts, ideas, photos and recipes and so on.. For that, you can be rewarded.
What you've done so far, on your fantastic journey, is to establish yourself as "the best steemian ever lived" more or less.. Due to 1 thing. That you've earned money.. based on.. wait for it.. Followers? (like you state in your "Want To Be A Steemillionaire?" post)..Nope. Luck? - There you go!
You earned money because of the whales and not because of your followers and subscribers from youtube or whatever. You probably got these whale-upvotes because you're famous. I give you that. You've worked hard to get to the point where you're at and you deserve every cent you've made so far. I give you that too.
But you can't state stupid things like "Want To Be A Steemillionaire?" and claim one of the reasons for it to be FOLLOWERS.
Like you did here:
"And the best way to do that is to use your other social media to tell all your friends, family and followers that you are now on Steemit and ask them to come over and join you and upvote your posts."
I'll even prove it for you..
As you can clearly see. All of the posts are being well-rewarded, no doubt about it.. But there's more to it. Notice that the post at the top has 5 votes and a bunch of more comments than the introduction post (the post at the bottom). Also noticed that the $-amount is about 50% LESS.
How come you ask..? - It's simple. Most of us steemians know this already. It's due to the steem power. You can get 500 votes and still earn less than $5..
I'll make it even easier for you to understand..
Starting to see my point..? - @guerrint had LESS votes and made $12,000 MORE than @dollarvigilante on his introduction.
WHALES ARE THE REASON FOR YOUR OVERNIGHT SUCCESS!!
- And that's exactly how it is for everyone else.. Who've experienced similar or even better results.
I'll use @guerrint as an example once more..
THE FIRST STEEMIT MAKEUP TUTORIAL- bringing Youtubers to Steemit!! Tara is back! - $26,660
- That's more than @dollarvigilante earned on any of his post so far. In fact, it's actually $4K less or so, to be the same amount as @dollarvigilante earned on all his post.
Another fun thing about this..
Take a look at @guerrint's blog. 5 posts in total. 4 weeks ago $26K. 3 weeks ago $14K. 2 days ago $2700..
She's addicted and she loves the money.. Sure she does. But why did her posts blow up like this?
I can't say for sure.. But what I believe at least is this..
She made something totally unique. And was the first one doing something like it. (The makeup video).
She continued to deliver unique content. (Steemit in the streets!)
She still delivers unique content. (Tara give a young child the best birthday ever.)
This is GREAT content. Period. She does something for the community. She brings people and she even spends her own money to give a random child his best birthday ever. That's one helluva advertising!

To talk about all the money you will earn on steemit is wrong. In my opinion it's even unethical and extremely unprofessional. Coming from someone like @dollarvigilante makes me both sad and angry.
- Because he's famous, more famous than probably 80% on steemit so far, and due to the fact that he became an overnight success.. He's untouchable.. At least I thought so..
Remember how the recent post from @dollarvigilante looked like when I started to write this post?
- For some reason, I just had to take another look before I published this .. So I did. And here's how it looked!
THANK YOU STEEMIT! ( @berniesanders, @smooth and @itsascam in particular).
Thank you for taking on the role as true leaders in this community.
Best Regards,
