One thing I learned from crypto and trading is, sometimes you just have to stick to your guns, and then add more guns for additional firepower. This is exactly why I decided to put another bunch of Steem Power into my account! (That, and of course that I got a race going against @meno to reach 10k.)
I see no reality in something like Steem should not see success. It goes too much against the saying "If you fight for it hard enough, you will get it". There are simply just too many people on this platform working their asses to make something cool on the steem blockchain. Hell, we even see @steemmonsters doing a kick starter that already is close to succeeding the funds required(ANOTHER SUCCESS!). Even when I get irrational and think all of the steem blockchain should fail, I just make a reality check on me buying asking the question:
Hoping to reach 10.000 steem power before the end of this year
8000 Steem power is just another milestone in the grand marathon I joined in on. To get as much Steem as possible until the SMT's are gonna launch. If there's any sense of predictability for when steem should start seeing greater success, this should be it. Maybe there will be a spike in price when it finally launches or maybe not. It could take time for the SMT to take root, but who knows? quite frankly, I do not care.
Is it all just to get rich?
For me, the part of "getting rich" by seeing huge gains from steem itself is actually just a secondary factor for me. If that was the case I could as well have put much much more of my money into some of the current popular players and probably make a bigger "fast" buck.
But for me investing my time and money in steem is more than just see steem rise in price. In fact, if steem won't rise but the steem blockchain still will be successful (in terms of people using it) I still would not mind because I am also trying to build a smaller carrier here. But getting enough steem to stay somewhat relevant on the site(let's not be naive, steem power is attractive as a woman with a good ass on the street). There's a true risk that acquiring this easy steem will be a thing of the past in a year. At least if you look at the past progression just two years ago and how much steem you could earn and buy back then for almost nothing.
Are you in on the STEEM marathon?
The clock is ticking guys, we might not all be able to become whales. But it is time to make a position and add on that as we go towards the era of SMT's! 50 steem, 500 steem or 5000. I do not matter. I went from being a small dolphin to a slightly bigger one... but still small. Every steem I earn is a success for me, call it greedy, hopeful or naive, but I want it.
I am on a sprint to see this marathon to the end!
Either we all win or we will perish together, both are beautiful in some way.
