Feedback loops are important, so I'm stepping away from my drunken rants about shows (although, I'll admit I've had a cocktail or two while watching Veep.) I wanted to share something I noticed about the site with our amazing developers.
Disclaimer: Not sure if this is the best way to let them know, so please make a suggestion in the comments if there's a more direct way.
So, when I enabled the recent "allow notifications from Steemit" on my laptop, it works great. I was super happy to see that I was also given the option on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 5). That said, the functionality isn't working quite as I hoped. In the notification tray (that I can view on both in my lock screen and not) I get a push letting me know when I get a comment or reply. However, when I click on this two things don't seem to work: first, it doesn't take me to the relevant page, and secondly, the notification doesn't go away. What does happen is, it will pull up my browser (in my case, I'm defaulting with Google Chrome) and then I still see the notification (which I have to swipe away manually no matter how many times I select it.)
Not sure if it's just something buggy on my phone or not, but since the "allow notifications" thing is recent, I figured it was worth mentioning.
The devs are doing awesome things (like, drop in photo coding for posts, just to name my personal favorite!!!) so please don't read this as complaining.
Thanks for all the work. Love this site and this community.
