So, when my friend told me about Steemit, I didn't understand a thing. I just knew that for your posts you get paid- and that's great. But, it took me avile till I didn't understand that you cannot just write your post and expect money- you must upvote and comment to other people, or resteem them.
To be honest, I still don't understand everything, but I tryed to make it easyer for me.
I imagined a bordel- this is a Steemit.
The money is spining inside the bordel and we share it.
You and I are prostitute (figuratively!!!!!!!).
Your main goal is to provide better service and be awarded for that. If you have something uniqe and desairble you will get more money and more customers (upvoters).

Also, every prostitute wants to work in the bordel that holds a rich and famous boss, so on Steemit they are called whales. If you like them- you will get more money by just one upvote.
But, every prostitute also need a recomendation- so if you resteem, you also get some money (like a pimp).

Every prostitute needs to invest in yourself- so, if you invest some money in your look (on Steemit your power), your price will be much higher.
And, one more thing. Unlike prostitutes you can 'work' just four times a day (posted)!
So, this is my little translation of a world that I don't understand!
And in conclusion- I think that prostitution should be legalized, but I think that there is a always another way for girls (or boys) to achieve something in they life.
