Taking time out from your personal /daily schedule is easier said than done. Sometimes you try to take take personal time but you find yourself becoming increasingly anxious about not doing any work .
But there's way. I'm going to outline three steps to carving out a personal time for yourself
start with something scheduled :
I know of a banker who despite his hours still tunes in every week to watch live episodes of dynasty.
Coming to steemit, if you could mark out a time for writing posts, upvoting or commenting you'll actually find it easier. For example, you can decide to take 8pm to 10pm as steemit time and actually stick to it.
Don't compromise :
Nobody is worth every second of your day
It is something I struggled with when I was trying to make out my weekly me time.
I work online and as a result am always on call so dedicating few hours to steemit proved tough at first but then I marked out time for myself and decided not to compromise.
Not compromising have helped me stayed active everyday of the last few weeks.
Always remember that the small amount time is important for putting your best self forward.
Encourage others to do the same :
Working 24/7 makes your colleagues antsy. For example sending them emails at odd hours make them feel guilty for not replying immediately.
Since I started taking my own personal time, I've been encouraging everyone to do the same.
As they say, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
