I have been on Steemit for just under 3 months so I am relatively new to it. However, there are some great unmissable aspects of Steemit I have learnt about that I'd like to share with you, as a new user. I'd like to share with you the best things that I have learnt about the Steemit community that can really help YOU as a new member make the best use of your time here on this platform and in being of real value to others. I hope this post helps you to get acknowledged for writing about the things you love and helps you earn your way through the Steemit-crypto universe!
WRITE ORIGINAL CONTENT
The Steemit community LOVE to read about something that you have written about, created, or a subject that you can shed some light on. Even if it is about something else that has been written, give your own views, get the reader thinking.
INTEND GIVING
I mean this in the context of writing. What can the community learn from your posts, from your own views? Can an experience that you have had be completely individual to you? Yes, it can! Write about it. Share your experiences and views with the confidence that people will see the genuine nature in you.
WRITE WITH PASSION, FOLLOW YOUR PASSION
It can get very boring to follow people just for the sake of following them if all you will read in your 'feed' are posts on subjects that do not interest you. It can really pay back to find people who inspire you and/or write about things that you enjoy reading about. Doing this will help you develop your own method of writing and get your mind working on future post ideas.
ALWAYS ASK EACH OTHER FOR HELP
We can all agree that getting to grips with how Steemit works can be a daunting task. There cannot be enough sharing of information about Steemit's parameters and I encourage everyone to interact with others. Steemit is a self-help platform and sometimes sticking your hand up and asking for help from people who know more, can really go a long way.
UPVOTE AND COMMENT
Commenting is the most important here, as it backs up your vote. A vote alone is great but it doesn't connect you with the person who wrote 'that amazing article' you just read. Introduce yourself by commenting on their post. Be genuine and positive in your approach. Give them an incentive to reply back and take interest in your posts.
CREATE A NETWORK
Great minds think alike. Find people who share an interest in the same or similar subjects as you and build a network to help each other grow. Communicate with these people regularly and share ideas about subjects that you all can write about. This post is one example of this. ecoTrain, as a group, collectively propose ideas about questions that we can write about. This can really speed up your account value also, as you all can help upvote, resteem and share each other's posts and help find new content to learn about something from all topics on Steemit.
INTEND TO MAKE A POSITIVE CHANGE
With all of the posts that I have read on Steemit, making a positive impact is one of the key aspects that I have noticed that exists within all the best posts and it is by far one of the most important to me. Make a positive change. It rings out true for Steemit itself, but it is a message that can add so much personality to your posts and the greater community at large.
STEEM ON!
