I was first introduced to quilling art around 5 years back. It was my mother’s retirement day, her last day at work. So, I thought of doing something special, which I had never done before. She is a fine artist, and to gift an art to an artist, is a special token of love and honour. It was my first ever self-made greeting card with quilling designs. It is said that, children get few things in hereditary, and so is with me. I inherited one of her best qualities, and that is art.
This is my first ever post on quilling art and it is dedicated to Steemit. This platform has been generous enough to appreciate my work and to introduce me to multinational people. In my least possible way, I have made a Steemit logo using quilling art as a token of appreciation to this platform.
➢ It started with drawing the outlines of the logo
➢ Made the borders with quilling paper
➢ Art has begun. Managed to get the colors right
➢ Completed the middle section of the logo with those conventional quilling designs
➢ It’s time to get on to you two, the left and right side swirled stripes
➢ Done with it. Steemit logo is ready
