Steemit Music Charts
Intro:
Hey fellow Steemians,I was so fed up with only having these old , inflexible and intransparent music-charts. Also I'm really curious of what kind of music you people are into.
So I thought about it and the only good solution was to put my a** down and get to work!
After quite some work I can now proudly present to you the first weekly Steemit Music Charts!
I hope you guys enjoy the work I've put into it!
If you have any ideas of what I could do better or what should be changed, please let you know. I really appreciate input of any kind. Thank you and have fun voting!
Disclaimer: Sadly I had no input data to build up from, so I took inspiration from the "Billboard Top 100" and some other sites, which are all mentioned in the sources under "(*1)". Further I just filled only half of the Charts with songs to encourage you to bring in your songs to make it a real reprensentation of the songs the Steemians like.

YES! In these Charts you can see how well your favorite song is doing!
The score for these first entrys in the (non Steem(*1)) Charts is set as:
102 - Pos * 2
Further Scores will be calculated as follows:
Round(Old-Score * 0.8 + Upvotes - Downvotes)

Yes, last weeks Score will be reduced by a certain factor to ensure that these Charts stay dynamic and new songs have a realistic chance to compete. You are free to discuss (also with me) if that is a good factor. I chose 0.8 to reduce the score slightly but not so much, that your votes feel worthless. Let me know what you think! :)
How can you vote?
You have 2 Upvotes AND 2 Downvotes:
You can Split your votes however you like, but you are only allowed to vote once!
If you like how someone voted and you'd like to vote the same way, just upvote his comment and you're done!
NOTE:
Voting multiple times will make all of your votes worthless and they won't be counted.

No problem:
You can vote for ANY song simply commenting "+1 'name of the song' - 'Artist' '(remix)' ".
'(remix)' is only required if you want a specific Version of that song.
Note, that a remix could have a hard time competing with standard versions of songs!
If a remix fails completely to make it into the charts, the votes made for that mix will be counted towards the original version of that song.
Example:
The song on pos. 100 has a Score of 22.
The votes for a song are these:
+2 Stole The Show - Kygo (Dary Remix)
+1 Stole The Show - Kygo (Sokko & Lyons Remix)
+2 Stole The Show - Kygo
+2 Stole The Show - Kygo [30 upvotes]
-2 Stole The Show - Kygo [10 upvotes]
Results:
The Remixes are too weak to compete, thus the votes will be counted
towards the original song.
The Song that was voted for wasn't in our charts before so: Old-Score = 0.

Final thoughts:
I'm not the kind of person that wants to ask for upvotes or resteems, because I see these charts as a service to this amazing community.
However I'd really like to see these Charts work out(since I've put quite some work and thought into it). So if you enjoyed this post and like to see representative charts I would really appreciate it if you could spread the word. Tell me what could be done better, or just vote. It's up to you!
