Steemit has a lot of high quality content which people have spent hours writing and proofreading which are worth big bucks $$$. This user @murphyslaw has written 2 lines and gotten $2000

1 Word Title and 2 lines which is worth nearly $2000 ( Going to go sleeep and when I wake up tomorrow I will see it )
How is this possible ? Something must be really fishy here as 2 Lines cannot be worth that much in my opinion I'm very sceptical about this and how he made it there.
Whales Club ?
I'm thinking that the whales probably have created a club for themselves which use new accounts to get up on the first pages of Steemit which is something that can ruin the reputation of Steemit as it could easily be exploited by stuff like this.
How is Steemit combating this ?
Well lets say 10 Whales upvote a newcommer, that will get a lot of weight and will be put on first page of Steemit which is not fair for everyone else who is creating high quality content and gets unnoticed like a drop of water in the sea. For example like this post. I bet not even 10 people will Upvote this because nobody will see it as the whales truly overtake the whole market.
There should be some sort of software that can detect exploits like this. I've heard that people have also made multiple accounts using photos from online and creating introductions for them. And they get all the credit for something that shouldn't really be allowed to be done.
