Without further ado, lets get to it right away.
Quantity And Quality Of Posting
When I first joined steemit, i spent a lot of time in the community observing what is and what is not.
In fact for over two weeks, I made no post at all.
You may want to ask, why I had to wait for that long.
I did that because i was consuming all the FAQs in the steemit section of my blog, observing top whales and examining how many times people post on steemit.
In steemit, what matters most is not the quantity of posts you make in a day.
In fact, in case you don't know, the top whales hardly post content again.
And you may want to ask why?
This is because they have consistently burned their data and time making good quality posts when they started and now it's yielding fruits.
Now, **Should I Post 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 times a day.
Well that is an interesting question though.
Well steemit doesn't limit the number of posts you make in day.
In fact I don't think that should be anyone's business but posting 5 times a day is overly outrageous.
One good post from you in a day may be all what you need to transform you life and experience right here on steemit.
Well, posting once or twice or at most 3 times is quite reasonable so You can get the response you need from your followers and
The community.
What i have observed is that the number of visits and consequently upvotes you get reduces as your number of post increases.
I said that to say that quality is.much more important than quantity anyday anytime.
This means that if you spend most of your time publishing just one content throughout the whole day, you are definitely going to get a better reward than to be posting up to 5 posts a day.
In summary, It means that you should compromise quality and quantity.
A good steemian should produce at least one wonderful post a day that incessantly brings value to the community.
Effect Of Not Posting Regularly
When I was in primary school, I was warned that if I leave my maths text for one day, it will leave me for one week. Furthermore, if I leave it for one week without studying, it will leave me for a month........Just Keep doing the maths.
It therefore means that if you are not posting on steemit regularly, then you are not adding value to the community and as such you are not relevant.
We all have to feed our stomach so we can survive right?
That's how it is.
This means that that the benefit of posting regularly cannot be overemphasized as it keeps your followers refreshed all the time.
It therefore means that if you are not posting regularly, then your reputation will be gradually dropping and subsequently you will be lose your followers and of course, you don't want that to happen right?
When To Post
Likewise, this is a very important point.
The point is that there are usually thousands of posts every minute.
However, in the midst of all the post flying around, you can actually target the best time to release your post.
Steemit is a world forum capturing people from every nook and cranny of the earth.
And of course there are different time zones.
Every post you make should have a particular set of people you are targeting.
In that way, you can monitor when they are awake and when they are asleep.
This has to depend on you though but one of my friend at @tikhub once said posting around 12pm Is not bad.
Conclusion
It is very important to be active on the platform so you can get more followers and recognition on the platform.
However another important thing to note is that each time you post, make it is one that will attract people to learn truly and genuinely from it.
Likewise, your comments are very important.
In fact, in case you don't know, I have earned closed to $2 from a single comment before.
Moreover, the more you comment, the more your number of posts increases and likewise your reputation.
That's where i will draw the curtain today.
