And I got a LOT of reading to do.
Obtaining a Master's degree is definitely something you have to work hard for. Maybe a little harder than I expected. However, I am looking forward to learning a lot this year and writing a great thesis. The whole point of this degree is that you show that you are capable of many things, and that you can do it better than the others.
As you may have noticed from the cover image of this post, I specialize in international relations in Latin America. In my opinion, there is a lot going on in the region that deserves some attention. Over the past few years we have seen the rise of many leftist governments with the most remarkable one: Venezuela. Moreover, the modern history of Latin America is very interesting to investigate from an international relations perspective, since the United States have influenced the region a lot. Furthermore, with identity politics becoming more visible everywhere around the world, there is much to learn about indigenous heritage, gender identity, and class division in Latin American (domestic) politics.
I expect this year to be very busy for me, and so this might mean that I will post less on Steemit. Over the summer I tried to put out one post a day, but now that I'm a week into studying again, I can already see that I can't keep up that schedule. I hope you understand!
Here's what you can expect from me the coming weeks/months:
1. The occasional post
As I said, I will try to post when I can, but I can't guarantee a post every day.
2. I will still be interacting!
Don't worry, I will still have an internet connection and I will read posts of others.
3. Steemgig!
I'm still in the business of making cool banners. If you're interested, you can find all the information about it HERE.
Here are some examples of the latest banners I made:
Banners for @nextgen622
Banner for @virtualgrowth
Banner for @nightshift1134
For only 4 SBD or 4 Steem, I am willing to make a cool banner for you too! Click here if you're interested.
That's all for now. Steem on, friends!
