Here's how you know if you're living correctly:
Reflecting on your past, you can regard all of your triumphs, all of your failures, and recognize that the ebb and flow of your life is in tune with the pulse,
the heartbeat of the Universe;
of Reality.
Are your expectations in check?
Do you appreciate the FACT that life will only ever be as perfect as you choose to perceive it?
We NEED to challenge ourselves, we NEED to occasionally, unwittingly fail; despite our best efforts to guarantee success.
Here is today's featured All Access pass:
I loved the guys who put on these events; Europeans, professionals, always a top notch production with incredible talent featured at every one of their shows.
One of my favorite passes, this one carries with it sage advice if you look a little closer:
The ACTUAL William Blake quote is thus:
"The road OF excess leads to the palace of wisdom."
Whether those words are offered as a cautionary warning (ever hear of Eve snacking on that crunchy fruit in the Garden of Eden?) or comforting words spoken to oneself following an inadvisably debaucherous night of women, substances, and song;
truer words have never been written.
If you have ever taken that same road to Hell and back (the journey always begins so sweetly, does it not?), carry back with you the wisdom of the journey.
The whole point of life is to live an interesting and honorable story; life is not without suffering - THAT is a certainty!
Make the suffering worth it.
BE the hero in the story of your life.
And heroes are not born, they are BUILT.
By your conscience,
your commitment,
and your own two hands.
Embrace the often nonsensical madness of this world, and ride the tide; remember that you are exactly where you are supposed to be - and that there's more to your story than the present moment.
Regardless of your age,
your next chapter is just beginning.
The occasional descent into madness is instructional, is eye-opening, and, I
would submit, often necessary.
Don't drop this next track around any young children...
To maintain your sanity, sometimes you need to go a little bit crazy.
Craiggles
The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom...
I've travelled that road many times;
Swimming in the River Styx...
Wherever you are,
whatever you're going through,
keep swimming.
The shore IS there;
you just can't see it yet.
Above all else, remember:
Suffering is but temporary;
While Glory Lasts
FOREVER!!!
Have an amazing Tuesday Steemit!
