As Steem dips to $1.16, its lowest in 7 months, one wonders if it was because of the overall bearish trend, or the performance of Steem itself that was responsible. So, I looked at a few performance indicators:
1. New Steemit Accounts: 2,450/Day
For the last week of July 2018, a total of 17,149 new accounts were created. That’s 2,450/day.

2. Blockchain Activity: 5.84 times BTC and 1.78 times ETH
3. Activity Valuation Index: 2,325
Conclusion:
Steemit is still growing at an impressive rate of 2,450 new accounts / day. In terms of its blockchain activity matrix, Steem remains way ahead of Bitcoin & Ethereum. The low price of Steem is an excellent opportunity for investors to get on board.
