Suzuki Launches RM-Z250 And RM-Z450 In India. Price, Overview And Availablity.....
Here’s good news for all you budding motocrossers. Suzuki has just brought in the first of their off-road lineup to India – the RM-Z250 and the RM-Z450. Both motorcycles are strictly for closed-circuit use only and can be ordered through select Suzuki dealerships around the country.
The RM-Z250 uses a 249cc single that is fuel injected and tuned specifically for motocross and supercross use. The 250 gets competition spec components like aluminium Excel rims, an aluminium frame, KYB’s PSF2 air forks, a new KYB rear shocker, Renthal Fat-Bars and even Suzuki’s holeshot assist system that works like a launch control system o alter ignition timing, optimizing your launch from the starting grid.
The RM-Z450 is the full spec motocrosser with a fuel-injected, oversquare 449cc motor. It is mated to a close-ratio 5-speed gearbox and boasts of some pretty top-spec components. The engine has been designed to deliver power all through the rev-range. The bike also gets Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control for that perfect launch. The chassis is full aluminium and has been designed to be more rigid and lighter than before. It uses a new 49mm front fork from Showa and Showa’s BFRC shocker at the rear. Lightweight aluminium rims, Renthal FatBars and Bridgestone rubber come standard. All this in a package that weighs 112kg, ready to ride.
Both bikes will be available in Suzuki’s factory colours and are priced at Rs 7.10 lakh and Rs 8.31 lakh respectively for the RM-Z250 and RM-Z450, both ex-showroom, Delhi.
