No... steemit is not that simple

I want someone to tell me, why it's not that simple, like this picture shows.
Because when you are a minnow, and have no one to explain, how steemit works....it is very tuff.
Thé first time, I land on steemit.com, I saw posts with 300$ 400$ earnings, I was very excited, but the 1st time I post, I was very disappointed, because I understood that it will not be that simple.

And in my opinion, I think that whales are the only ones, who made $$$, and its not by posting but by investing $$$.

Tell me if I am wrong...
