I hope that I can share this post. I am so totally in love with the Steemit community, but getting a little worried about some things that I hope are simply growing pains on the Steemit platform.
Whenever I try to post or do any activities in the morning, PST time, I get bandwidth errors.
As a newbie here, I am guessing that I need to buy Bitcoin, but can't really afford it with the $6,000+ price tag. FYI if you are a Whale, help a lil' minnow out pa'less.
Maybe I need to claim my rewards, nope, tried to do that and get nada, nothing at all, not even a warning message. The rewards just sit there in my account taunting me. Refresh the page, try again, nope. That does not compute minnow girl.
Maybe I need to take a photo of me holding a piece of paper saying date? Really? I can photoshop that. OR is Steemit able to read the GPS data in the image and verify? This will be my next effort. Will post this week.
I searched within the @steemit community and learned about a site called @steemdb and checked out my profile stats. According to this other site, I need to wait 49 hours to do anything else on the network? Someone explain this to me in laywomans terms. ;)
but... after trying again, within 30 minutes (even though the SteemitMD said i should wait), I could post comments again.
Then tried removing some of the images in my 'Ancient Beekeeping post' and that could of helped some, because I was 'allowed' to post comments again, but could have been a coincidence.
Is there a group where we can monitor bugs or submit them?
In my 18+ years experience with designing and launch large software projects, I am guessing that the @steemit community is growing like gang busters and the genius developers are slaving away to find ways to decrease the costs of running the site.
I am totally hooked here. Wish I had the time to write and chat all day. Some folks are saying this is a total waste of time, but I don't care. Love it.
