IMO what we really need is smaller niche communities like Discord groups provided via. Nobody sees everything that is posted on FB/Twitter etc. People will mostly browse on pages they have followed or groups they are a part of. We don't have this on STEEM platforms for the most part.
Check out @steemhunt it's one of my favorite projects on STEEM. It has a very specific focus with soft-moderation and it has its own account based voting system. The platform itself is considerably engaging. https://dpoll.xyz is another favorite of mine. I'm actually the #1 in Top dPollers list.
We have more interfaces/front ends/platforms with niche focus. This will make curation more efficient and directed at a much more targeted demographic.
